The Point System Explained

Every available tour site on the Executive Tour list is assigned a certain point value from 1 to 5. Points are based on the location itself, as well as the kind of visit and length of visit to the location.

5-POINT SITES: 1 1/2 – 2 hrs. each. These are some of the most iconic places to visit in DC, where only a longer visit is appropriate. 5-point sites will receive a more thorough overview, and include locations such as national-park service sites, museums, and high-powered government buildings.

4-POINT SITES: 45-60 min. each. Take in the beauty of historic churches, natural landscapes, and Smithsonian museums from our passionate, expert tour guides. 4-point sites will deliver quality insight and an opportunity to take in astonishing architecture.

3-POINT SITES: 30 min. each. Highest-quality customer experience is our number-one priority. 3-point sites maintain the experience of a 4- or 5-point site, but less time is needed for experiencing these sites. Liberty guests are brought to the halls of power and art for a memorable journey through history and culture.

2-POINT SITES: 15-20 min. each. 2-point sites are focused on remembering—and maybe discovering—the men and woman who fought for freedom along the National Mall, as well as some of the icons of American leadership who molded American civilization and liberty.

1-POINT SITES: Pass-by. No one can see all DC has to offer in a day, but our 1-point “pass-by” options give our guests the opportunity of seeing as much of it as they can without having to leave their vehicle. 1-point sites are great for photography enthusiasts.
